Best Classes in current Paragon Ladder

right now, wiz and demon hunters are at the bottom of the food chain as of 1.0.4

Expect demon hunters to slide below witch doctors in terms of farming efficiency following the ToC nerf/bugfix in softcore, although the top 1000 may not change substantially given progress made so far. Shouldn't affect hardcore though.

barbar is too overpowered (WW) for paragon-lvling :) (gear required)

barb is overpowered, blizz are just too scared to nerf them.

ww barb is clearly overpowered... blizzard should nerf it, it might be harsh in 1.03 but in 1.04 rend is good enough to not use ww

Blizzard would be stupid to nerf WW barbs, seeing how that will just loose them more players. I think it's a weird concept that so many people ask to nerf the Barb, why not ask for the boost of your class? Or even better, stop calling for the hammer and create a Barb. After realising WD was crap I just made a new char and I now have all classes. Finally ended up last with a Barb and that made the game a hell of a lot more fun. (just realised that is the main reason for blizzard to nerf something isn't it? Having fun lol :)

Just stop calling for bans and just adept, takes a few days to level and (basic) gear a WW barb. But if you want to complain, ask for boosts of your classes, so they will be fun again.

there are a lot of barbs because of the bots, most of them are barbs running 24/7, not because they are overpowered but because of sheer numbers

I agree with skaatje about it being stupid to nerf the barbs. As a matter of fact nerfing should never be done to single player or coop online modes since playing solo or coop with friends is all about having fun and not competive like if your playing a multiplayer games that's PvP like a Call of Duty or Battlefield where your competing against people and not bots or npcs. Nerfing should only be done as a last resort in games where your not playing against each other and other then that it should only be used to make things even and fair for an online game where everyone is competing against one another.

Btw if everyone is picking a particular class over and over no one should cry nerf because you have the choice to pick that class also so instead people should ask for buffs to whatever they feel isnt up to par because nerfs normally never work out right and make things worst not better. Remember that all classes are meant to be played differently some are better at close combat others are better at range and some are meant to be more of a support role so sometimes the issue is the player not the class or game and speaking of the player remember that every player is different too so no matter how many buffs or nerfs are done it won't put everyone on the same level because the fact is that there are good players and bad players period. I only say this because some people see a great or good player and then blame the game, class, etc for that player doing so good and then cry nerf thinking it will help put them on the same level as that better player and i hate when this happens and it does for those who will deny it you know who you are.

Fact is most developers do a good job with the game to begin with and almost everything is right and what isnt they fix or patch after the games release but as soon as players start crying nerf this and that and they sometimes actually listen but to the wrong people and then the nerfing starts and sometimes dosent stop and things change for the worst and it ruins the game for those who liked the game the way it was to begin with and never complained because they either had it right or were already fixing the right things. I'm not totally against changes but only if there for the better and really need to be changed but from my experiance thats not usually the case when people cry Op or nerf on a forums for a game thats played coop with others and not against others you can bet they aint thinking about everyone and whats best for the game but really for what not only helps them but is also just best for themselves period.
